Sunrise Woven Blanket
||Bob Dalton was inspired to help the homeless population when his mother, a hardworking single mother, found herself living on the streets in 2013. Because of her story, he realized that not all choose to become homeless and some just need a second chance. He began calling homeless shelters to ask what they needed; they all said blankets. For every blanket you purchase, our partner gives a blanket to our local homeless shelter in Savannah, GA.|
With every item purchased with us, a tree is planted in partnership with the National Forest Foundation.
Blankets are distinguished from other bedding due to their thickness. Traditionally made of wool because of its warmth, the term arose from the generalization of a specific fabric called Blanket fabric, a heavily napped woolen weave pioneered by Thomas Blanket (Blanquette), a Flemish weaver who lived in Bristol, England in the 14th century.
